Holbrook is a recently refurbished Victorian property, situated within ten minutes walking distance of the ancient Saxon town of Shaftesbury. A private car park for guests is available. A warm welcome and friendly personal service is assured to all guests, including children.
All bedrooms have full en-suite facilities and are tastefully decorated to a high standard. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and hairdryers are provided in all rooms.
Digital TVs (with built in DVD players), which provide up to 30 free view channels and over 20 digital radio stations, are wall mounted in each bedroom. We have a varied collection of DVDs any of which guests can borrow free of charge. Ironing facilities can be made available on request.
Sleeping arrangements in the family room consist of a super-king size bed together with bunk beds. The double room consists of a double bed and there is sufficient room for a chair bed if required. The twin room consists of two single beds and as with the other two rooms there is sufficient space for a travel cot which we can provide.
Although having only opened in early June 2007, Holbrook has already earned a fast-growing reputation for its' excellent and varied breakfast menu and has a pleasant dining room for guests to relax and enjoy their quality food in comfort. Highchairs are available for the younger guest.
Advice is available on where to eat, places of local interest, day trips and entertainment. Every effort is made to help guests feel relaxed and enjoy a pleasant stay at Holbrook.
